The control unit for our oven has become very dim. Thermador's customer service department told me thatthey have no replacement parts and maybe it is time to buy another oven. It appears that you you sell the control module for our oven. Is this correct and is it easy to install?

Control board for CT130 was discontinued a few years ago. Sorry. You might be able to purchase a rebuilt board from CG Industries (out of IL). I don't think you'll be able to find one brand new anymore.

Thank you for the response. If the CT130 control module is available from CG Industries, how easy is it to install? I don't want to get myself in trouble by taking out screws without a plan.
I apppreciate your assistance.

It's really not that difficult to replace this board. Make sure to turn off the power to the oven first. Control panel comes off, the module is usually mounted on the panel. You shouldn't have any issues with wiring - simple quick disconnect type harnesses. Replace the module, make sure you don't have a loose or a pinched wire. Put the control panel back on and you're done.

I am sorry to trouble you again about my Thermador CT130 oven. To access the control module, is it necessary to slide the oven out from its built-in position or is there a trick to removing the stainless face plate on the front. I do not want to start removing screws without a plan and I have not been able to locate any drawings.
Thank you.

No trouble at all. You don't have to pull the oven out. Remove the trim pieces (#4, 9, and 10 on the diagram below) around the control panel first, you can then gain access to the control panel and the module.
