Sorry we missed your first post.

If you ordered the igniter Part number: AP2014488
Part number: AP2014488

from Appliance Parts Pros then you can see on the picture that it comes without the wire nuts.

I'm just the volunteer on this forum but I would like to make it clear for you and other people who can read it that Appliance Parts Pros does not make any parts. They all come from different manufacturers and the only manufacturer decided what to include in the package.

The best thing about it is that you were able to fix it even it was more complicated than just a bad igniter. Good job!

My igniter question is in regards to a GE Gas Range (PGS975SEM1SS). The connector for the igniter is somewhere behind the back wall of the oven. I would prefer to plug in rather than splice the wires (I have a genuine GE part ordered through you, so I assume the plug connector is the same).

What's the best method to access the igniter plug? Can I reach it through the convection fan opening, or can I remove the back panel of the range?

Thanks.

Pull the range out of the wall and remove the rear panel.

Thanks. Two screws was all it took to access igniter connector through the back panel. That part was easy. Removing the two screws that hold the igniter in place was much harder than it should have been, but eventually was accomplished. Thanks for helping me save some $$$$.

The closest model number I found is RSK3700UWW. It does not "0" between "K" & "3".

Open the oven door and look on the top of the oven cavity. The igniter should be secured to the Broil burner (#1 on the diagram) with two screws.

You probably have to remove the burner mounting bracket (#3) and carefully pull out the burner together with the igniter and then unscrew the igniter mounting screws. Cut the igniter wires long enough to splice in the igniter.

The new igniter comes without the mounting bracket, so you have to use the old bracket. Be very careful because the igniter coil is very fragile. You have to order the high temperature wire nuts together with the igniter.

- The igniter Part number: AP2934763

thanks very much for the replies.
My mistake on the model number ,I must have hit the 0 by mistake and missed it when I checked it. Sorry
Looks like a fairly easy repair.
