The refrigerator has been running almost 24 hours and there is no sign that the defroster has come on and the evap fan runs constantly. The water line is also frozen again. It's cold, but there is frost building on the evap. Any further suggestions? Thanks..

Does it look more than that? Have you cleaned the condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator? Gene.

What would cause the through-the-door water line to freeze?

It seems oddly coincidental that all of these problems occured at the same time.

Give it a few more days. Gene. Gene, I'm right back where I was before. The water line is frozen and the evap coils are a solid block of ice. So much so that the inside panel of the freezer is bulging inward. The refrigerator section is not cold either. Based on what was already replaced in previous posts, any recommendations? I'm getting ready to curb this thing and buy a new one.. Thanks..
