The lower oven vent/blower motor on this oven/micro combo unit is very noisy and sounds like its sticking and probably failing. Looks like a pretty major job to access it for service or replacement.
Can anyone tell me how to access this unit or where to find the info I need? Any advice that will help me with this project will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for the fast response, Gene! That info will help me a lot! Looks like I'll need to pull the whole unit out of the wall, so I'm going to wait until the problem gets worse...........or at least until warmer weather, whichever comes first!

Jim,
You are welcome. Do not use the self clean until the blower fixed.

I have a similar problem. I have a kitchen aid superba wall oven. The noise however comes from an area at the top. there are vent holes where the noise is coming from and screws on the front but I havent opened it. The model is KEBS107DBL8. My husband wont let me get it fixed because he is afraid the oven will need to be pulled out of the wall of cabinets that it is in and the cabinets will be damaged. but the noise is on whenever the oven is on and until it cools down even when its off. That leads me to believe it is a fan motor of some sort. Please tell me I can get to it without pulling the oven out of the cabinets.

Very likely the noise is coming from the cooling fan (#3 on the diagram). Unfortunately you husband is right. The oven has to be completely removed from the cabinet to replace the part but I do not see why the cabinets should be damaged. I did it a few hundred times and did not damage anything. The problem is: if you would not take care of this fan it can cause more damages to other parts in the control compartment. - The cooling fan kit Part number: AP3079434
