If the compressor is running its really quite and its not hot to touch. I took the back of the freezer out the coils are not frozen. I reset the defrost timer it seems to be working. Just trying things i have seen in other post. still looking for help

One night I tried turning the thermostat down then it kicked the breaker. I reset it fridge started running again. The next morning when I got up everthing in the freezer was unthawed and in a couple of hours the whole fridge was hot inside. I cleaned the coils under it (very dirty) but it just will not start cooling again.

Check for continuity between each wire and the chassis ground. Post the results. Gene.

What kind of meter did you use? Gene. P.S. The problem you described earlier was not connected to the relay from the beginning.
