I have a Kenmore Automatic Washer, Model 110 81878810
The top of the knob on the dial that selects the type of cycle to use broke off.
I have been given the following P/Ns
Timer Dial Knob, P/N: AP3099774 Timer Dial knob top, P/N: AP3096351
To operate the washer I would pull the knob, turn it to the desired cycle and then push in to start the washer. Well this top of the knob that I would pull broke off.
What do I order, the Dial Knob, or the Dial Knob Top? If I order the top, how would I get it on the dial.
Kinda like, which came first the chicken or the egg

Quote:...Well this top of the knob that I would pull broke off... I believe you have to order only the broken part - the timer knob. This knob is just screwed on. Push it in and unscrew. - The timer knob Part number: AP3096351
