Both electric double heating elements on my cooktop are too hot when turned to "low". This is true even after waiting a long time. They remain somewhere above 300 degrees. Is this a infinite switch problem? Are there wiring diagrams for this model and how do you troubleshoot the switches.

I would start by checking the resistance levels on the switches for each of the burners. It is possible the switches are not the correct ones. If you purchased the unit used who knows it may have been worked on by someone that used the wrong parts.
