My washer is leaking under the drum cylinder, i've been reading you guys blog and it sounds like i may need a hub, seal kit for my amana washer model# LW7503W2, My question to you is how hard is it to replace the kit and would i need special tools if so can they be purchase through appliance parts. Based on the age of the washer, would you recommend replacing the washer? Thank you for your time!

Given the difficulty and expense of this repair and the discounting that is going on with new, basic top loaders, I would replace it. You will be happier in the long run.
