Zahoor,

Does it make any noise when it's on or it's silent?

If it does, is this noise sounds like normal?

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric JVM1851BH06 Counter top microwave | AppliancePartsPros.com

Remove the microwave from the cabinet. Remove the microwave outer case.
Remove the wires from the high voltage transformer primary winding and check for 120 VAC between these wires while the control calls for heat.

Post the results.

You did it wrong. The transformer primary winding is connected to the wires coming from the control board or door switches. You went to the secondary (high voltage) or filament windings and it is VERY DANGEROUS.

I'm afraid you can electrocute yourself. It is better if you'll hire a pro to do it for you.

Did you close the door while performing this test?

If you did and the microwave was on then the problem most likely is a bad control board. The only thing confusing me is a humming noise which is not connected to the control board.

Part number: AP3883439
