I think I have some material on this model for diagnosing the icemaker. Let me look and I'll attempt to upload it.

My model Refigerator is a French Door, it has a freezer on the bottom. So the ice maker is located in an compartment inside the refigerator, not the freezer. After pulling out the box that holds the cubes I can see a label underneath the ice maker. Its a Samsung Model: IMC701.

I came home from a two week vacation and noticed that I wasnt able to get any ice. I spoke to my friend who stayed at the house during that time, and he did say that lots of ice cubes kind of molded together near the opening at the door where the ice comes out.

Several times I have also caught the opening near the door where the ice comes out, just opening and closing on its own as if I had a cup pressed against it. It does stop eventually. The water dispenser works perfectly fine.

At this point I really dont know what to do. Not sure if this is something I can fix, but I would like to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same model fridge and Ice-maker and the same exact problem. Any help please? Someone mentioned checking voltages I can do that but I need schematics and values to compare.
