Hi Expert:
My Whirlpool microwave stopped working with a code F7 blinking every time I touch the start button. Everything else is working fine. This machine was only lightly used for 1.5 year. I wouldn't think there is any hard damage to it.

Any solution for fixing the problem would be greatly appreciated

The first thing I would do is unplug the microwave for a few minutes. Plug it back and check if it helped.

Thanks Gene for your quick response.
I followed procedures you suggested and it still showed the F7 code. Can you tell me what else I could try?
Many thanks

Tiger,

You have to follow the troubleshooting instructions as described in the tech sheets. If you feel it's going to be too complicated for you then call a qualified technician.
