I have a Maytag LDE610 Electric Dryer that the drum won't start turning and it hums. I can give it a "push" by hand and it will start turning and will run and dry. Got any idea what the problem is ? Motor?

Yeah Jeff, you are right. Motor it is.

Given the huge discounts on new dryers now in the stores your Accounting backgound should lead you to conclude that replacement is the way to go.
