Hi,
I have no heat coming from my Furnace. I have 4 flashed indicating an Open High Limit switch. I replaced the switch and the burners came on briefly but the flame never kicked on. What else can cause the four flashes besides the limit switch being open?
FYI I had a similar situation last Spring when I got 4 flashes. I replaced the limit switch at that time and it seemed to solve the problem for the rest of the season.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Check the wiring diagram and see if maybe there is more than one limit in that circuit.

Only one limit switch, so that's not the problem.
Could it be the flame rollout switches? Can these be reset?

There is obviously more of a problem if this high limit has to be replaced annually. Roll out which trips this limit is a sign of greater problems that could be FAMILY SAFETY problems. GET AN HVAC CONTRACTOR FOR A CURE.
