Hello, My wife was using the micro as a timer by mistake. She said she did it twice in the matter of 10 to 15 minutes. I dont' know how long she did this for. The micro is completely dead with the exhaust hood open. I changed the 2 fuses, checked the breaker and the outlet to no avail. Any ideas what the problem could be. I sold my house and am closing in a month. Would it be cheaper to fix this or buy a new one? Thanks.

Are you able to do some electrical testing?

You'll need to uninstall the microwave (if it's installed overthe range), remove the cover (anywhere from 10 to 18 screws), and test to see if you have 120VAC going to the main control board, and coming out of it. You up to it?
