When I depress the thru the door paddle, the auger motor does not turn. In addition, if the refrigerator is 'on', it will shut off and the light goes dim. After releasing the dispense paddle and hear the ice door close, the light returns to full intensity and the refrigerator comes 'back on'. I was planning on replacing the motherboard due to the hi-pitched whine it started making, but wondered how to test to determine if the motherboard is a cause for this problem as well. Thanks for help. Ty

The main control board is the culprit. No doubts about it and it does not need any more tests. - The main control board Part number: AP4436216

Thanks again Gene! Received part and installed in about 5 minutes and ice dispensing like new and no more hi-pitched fan whine (a problem, or more of an irritant really) when the refrigerator was 'on'. Really appreciate your knowledge and turned out great! Ty
