My dishwasher is not running properly. When I push the on/off button "2H" appears in the screen for all cycles except the Rinse/Hold cycle. The dishwasher does start though and eventually the 2H is replaced by minutes (?) The cycle seems to continue for an excessive length of time (I haven't actually timed it) when it gets to 1 it seems to run forever. I often manually stop the cycle but it will eventually reach CL on its own. Something similar happened several years ago and it seemed to be a circuit board or control panel problem I think. I wondered if the 2H at the start of the cycle and the continuous running on 1 at the end are related or two separate problems.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Most likely the problem is a bad control module.

You also can use the troubleshooting manual from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...troubleshoot-manual.html

- The part number for the control module is AP2802870

I am having this same exact problem with my SHU6805U UC12. The dishwasher is about 7 years old. I had the same problem a year and a half ago and had someone come out. They replaced the control module. I was going to buy the part and do it myself but there is a note that states that the part has been redesigned. I do not want to buy something that won't fit. Not sure what to do.

There is nothing to worry about. It should perfectly fit.

Thanks, Gene. I ordered the part and it arrived yesterday. Can you please tell me if I need to take off the inside cover to get to the control module. The inside cover is the one held in place with screws across the top an dsides. Thanks again!

I'm glad that I found this forum. We have the same exact problem with an 8 1/2 year old Bosch SHU53022UC/U06 dishwasher. Is the control unit faulty or is it not receiving a feedback signal from some sensor?

My SHU5316UC/U06 is having the same problem - starts any cycle at 2H, runs down to 1 then is stuck there. Do we need to replace the control panel, or seems I read something somewhere about cleaning out the drain line to the sink. How do we know? Suggestions please.
