I ordered a replacement auger part WR17x11939 for my icemaker. I cannot figure out how to disassemble the icemaker to install the new part. I have a blow up picture of the parts but it doesn't have any explanation. Based on my previous experience with this refrigerator, I don't want to snap off any more parts.

I had the same issue as you in removing the nut. I found out that it is REVERSE thread. So you need to turn it to the right to remove. I used a larg set of pliers. but now my problem is. I accidently dropped it and all the ice crushing blades fell off and i don't know what sequence to install the. they are Labled "7" "8" and "9" but i don't if 7 should start from fron ot back. Anyone know?

It goes 7, 8, 9. #7 is closest to the ice cube tray. I can't seem to get the old broken auger out. Any tips?

Figured it out:
1) Removed the ice bin and emptied the ice.
2) Removed 4 screws total
3) (hardest part) JImmied a flat blade screwdriver into the left top side of the housing and pried gently to disengage the plastic holding clip. This only allows the left side of the housing to move up about a half-inch. Did the same on the right side and 'walked' the assembly out of the bin.
4) Before removing the screw at the end of the assembly, it is a good idea to take pictures of the ice crushing part of the assembly so that it goes back on correctly.
5) Unscrewed the auger from the assembly and and carefully stacked the ice crush blades and washers in the order they were removed.
6) Installed the ice crush blades on the new auger, re-installed the screw.
7) Re-assembly is easy, you just need to set the end of the auger in the back of the ice bin and slowly re-install the housing portion.

Juat remember that the augur has reverse threads, so turn the nut opposite of what you'd expect. Also, when re-assembling, make sure to locate the metal rod that opens the hatch in the fork ... I got mine all back together without doing that the first time, so had to take it half apart again to get the "door opener" properly positioned.

This is my problem I droped it and I have no idea how the whole thing is assembled. Can someone tell or send me a picture of it?

I think there is a description of the order of the blades earlier in this thread. Also, I was able to find an exploded diagram of the icemaker online, though I can't remember where.
