Hi there~
I used the Self Clean mode today and all was well. Tonight it won't heat *either element*. This is an electric single oven.
I need help because if I can fix this *I installed it* then I'd prefer that!

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GBS277PDQ11 27" Built - in Electric Single Convection Oven (gold Line) | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is the tech sheet
http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Tech%20Sheet%20-%208301758.pdf

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!

If power is OK then the thermostat (TOD) is next (item 37 in Section 1)
Remove power from the unit and one wire to the TOD and check it.
It should be 0 ohms.

I have the same problem after cleaning the oven. Checked the therm and it is open. Does it sound like it could be the problem.
