Model No. 596.58642890 is the No on Parts Book and No on Back of Ref. is 58642
The ref. is going through defrost at top part of the ref. and freezer. It is not doing it at the bottom only the top. It then goes through the defrost mode and starts freezing things at the top. Then it quits again and does not freeze or cool things at the top part of the whole ref. only. Can someone please give me some ideas on what might be wrong. I have posted before and didn't receive a response and am trying to re-word in hopes of getting a reply.

You might have an ice clog in one of your vents.Measure freezer temperature and post, should be between zero and 12 degrees approx. Pull freezer back panel and check frost pattern. If only partially frosted you have system problems for a tech. to figure out.
