If the blower motor stops... the heat will stop shortly after. If the blower motor doesn't run at all you will most likely feel no heat at all. Sounds to me like your problem is the same as everyone elses....bad blower motor caused by a bad transistor.

You are most likely right. Today I am going to do the diagnostics that Gene recommended. It does make sense that the heat would stop after the blower motor stopped otherwise there may be a chance of a fire if the heater just kept on. Thank you for your very much for your input.

Ok, all the voltages test correctly according to the voltages on the "Testing the Iverter" page except for the line voltage which read 125VAC. Is that too much for the unit? Do I have a problem with the RF Choke?:confused:

Sounds like the blower motor is the culprit. - The blower motor Part number: AP3791484

I installed the new motor on Thursday and the dryer has been working fine ever since.(We had a build up of laundry and we put the dryer through it's paces catching up.) Thanks everyone for responding even if you did not respond to my direct question. All of the input on this forum made a difference for me. :D
BTW, I think I read a thread on here that indicates that the motor can be rebuilt. Should I save the motor and rebuild it for the next time it goes out?:confused:
