 Myself and my friend took apart my Maytag washer to find out why their was water on my floor ruining my flooring. We looked at all of it. It appears to be coming from the bottom shaft of the tub. Someone told me it is a cup, that needs to be replaced. It has gotten worst and my wife wants a new one. So I need help to getting this fixed. Let me know if you need any additional info. The water pump is dry. Thank you.

If you are saying that it is leaking where the transmission enters the tub then the tub seal is leaking. This page has step-by-step instructions along with a video on how to replace the seal Maytag Tub Seal Replacement
