I was given a washer but was told it didn't work. I replaced the thrust bearing assembly and put in a new pump. Now it works but really dances around when it is spinning. How do I fix the balance?

White shavings on the washer bottom indicate a worn snubber. If so, go to my article in the general talk section, page five.
