My front-loader makes a slight roaring sound during high-speed spins. There is no play in the inner drum. I suspect bad bearings (and hope the spider is OK).

My thought is to install higher quality bearings/seals instead of a rear outer tub half with OEM bearings/seals. But, the MRS. doesn't want Mt. Washmore to pose an avalanche threat while I have the unit torn down.:)

Can anyone tell me the dimensions or numbers on the bearings and seals in this model? Or, if in your experience, my plan is not a good idea, perhaps you could suggest an alternative.

Thank you!

Jon
