This unit has 2 filters (grease and carbon). Customer Service told me that the grease filter is a direct replacement. Does anyone know if the carbon filter actual fits this unit? I have neither filter installed now. Thanks!

Bix,

Yes, the grease filter(s) is a direct replacemanent.

Part number: AP4299743
Part number: AP4299743

However, the carbon filter(s) are not.

Part number: AP4299930
Part number: AP4299930

They are an accessory, add on, or option, and not absolutely necessary.

The carbon filter(s) remove odors from the air when cooking on the cooktop.
They are attached to the grease filter, then the grease filter is installed into the vent assembly on the bottom of the microwave.

Wether you want or need them is up to you, but not necessary like the grease filter(s).

:) :) :)
