I bought this under-counter microwave second hand and looking like new. It has performed flawlessly until this morning. Attempted to heat my java and... Everything looked and sounded normal, but no heat. Light came on, timer started counting down, turntable started turning, chime sounded, display said "Food Ready". Well... It wasn't. The fan sounded normal and the sound changed in tone (somewhat louder) when the magnetron usually turns on, just no heat. I would like to repair it, don't mind removing it to work on it, have the tools and multi-meter to diagnose, I just don't know where to begin... I hope you can guide me to the proper cause and then sell me the part... Don't want cold coffee. David

Just to get more information I put in a bowl of water and set auto-defrost for 2 lb. As is the normal function, I heard the power supply (I think) turn on for an appropriate period, turn off and then turn back on. My assumption is that the timer, board, power supply are all good and that the magnetron is receiving power as designed, but is not functioning. When I said I heard the power supply change I meant it hums and there is a slight flicker in the interior light and then after a brief "on" condition the hum stops and this sequence repeats. Sounds as if everything is doing it's job except for the magnetron. Your guidance please...
David
