Today I noticed the freezer was starting to thaw on our GE Profile Arctica. Moved frozen foods to fridge / freezer in garage. An hour or two later, the fridge seemed to quit cooling.

I can hear a motor running. This is a side by side with an ice / water dispenser in the freezer door. Dispenser still dispenses water that is cool.

Ideas?

Do you have a frost build up on the back wall of the freezer?

No but this morning everything seems to be fine as the freezer portion and the fridge portion are cold. Icemaker is making ice.

Serial # LD419334. I wanted to give it a couple of days and for now; it seems to be working fine. To me, if it happened once, then it could happen again.
