Hi I have a Daewoo FRSU20DAI side by side fridge freezer. The fridge compartment temperature seems ok & the fan seems to run ok. The freezer compartment does not get cold enough, particularly the top where the ice cubes no longer freeze. The fan runs but I have my suspicions that it does not run all the time it should. The bottom of the freezer compartment is definately cooler than the top. The compressor runs ok, as does the condensor fan. I have defrosted & cleaned everything I can think of. I have the service manual, http://www.daewoo.cl/sta-info/m...ig/FRS-U20BCI_U21GAI.pdf which seems a bit vague when it comes to fault codes. Any advice gladly received

Hi Debs Yes I found a solution, no thanks to the people on this forum who didn't even acknowlede the questions I asked. My problem was solved by replacing the circulation fan at the top of the freezer compartment behind the ice dispenser. On my fridge freezer the fan appeared to be running a bit too slowly at times. Eventually I managed to spot it not running at all. Note, the fan does not run with the door open so you have to hold the door switch such. After replacing the fan the difference was immediate. The part No. for the fan is D4612AAA21. Good luck

Hi I think i have the same problem with my Daewoo fridge/freezer. Can you tell me is it the fan inside the freezer behind the ice maker part, and was it easy to replace, and is yours still working fine...thanks so much for the information you have posted so far, it has saved a lot of time..Peter

Hi Peter Yes, the fan I replaced was behind the ice maker & yes, it was quite easy to replace. My freezer has worked fine ever since. There is a link to the service manual earlier in the post. This will show you how to remove the fan, then you need to replace the fan motor in it's casing. Let me know if you need any more help Richard
