Put in new timer and it''s doing the samething.I turn it on and it went thru all the way just find.So I put a small load in and it went thru all the cycles and where it should have stop, well it didn't.It just kept going. So I stop it and turn it to rinse and drain and all I hear is a motor running. It wont drain at all. And it wont spin either.I check the lid switch and it works on the other cycles. Also,on the old timer,if I unplug the washer over night the next day it would do one load fine and then as I describe above.

I would check the drain pump for a clog. Remove the front panel of the washer, the pump is at the front bottom right side, with 2 hoses attached. Now either get the water out of the tub with a shop vac, or pinch off the hose connecting the tub to the drain pump. Take the top hose off, and stick your finger down the hole and feel for anything. also you can stick a screw driver down the pump and see if the impeller moves freely...Post your findings

Sorry For Taking So Long ,,,i Tried That And It Seem To Me That The Impeller Is Made Of Rubber And It Wouldn't Move.we Put A Load In Last Night, the First Load Did Great.the Second Load ,the Timer Went Around Twice Before We Turned It Off. The Third Load Stop At The Rinse And Spin Cycle,it Sounds Like A Motor Is Running But There Is Notting Going On.so We Turned It Off For About An Hour.i Left It In The Same Postion That It Had Stop On,so I Just Pulled The Knob To Turn It On And It Drain An Spun Like New....we Go Thru This Every Time. HOW DO I BYPASS THE LID SWITCH????

With the front panel removed, remove the two 1/4inch screws facing you that hold the top panel. now lift up on the top and pull twards you. You will see a 2 pin connector, disconnect that, that is your lid switch harness. You can bypass it there. Check to make sure the plunger on the lid is making the switch engage. Sometimes the wire that holds the bumper can get moved a bit.

The impeller is plastic, and should move, if it wont move, or you hear a hum when it should be draining, I would suspect the pump is bad, or there is something in it getting caught.
