My washing machine goes all the way through the cycles, agitates and everything, but will not spin or drain. Help?

Hi, My washer is a Kenmore series 90, Model #110.20922990 and replacing the lid switch solved my problem. I don't know what differences there are between the series 80 and 90, but the following web site has photos and detailed instructions that include replacing the lid switch for a series 90 Sears Kenmore Washing Machine Repair I hope it may be of some use to you. My biggest problem was either waiting a week for the part to arrive or driving 100 miles to pick it up at a Sears parts center... I chose to make the trip. It only took about 15 minutes to replace the switch once I had it in hand. Hope this is of some use to you.
