Danny,
You have to remove the microwave from the oven cabinet.

Dear Gene, Thanks for your reply, this microwave is mounted above the oven and I will pull it out if necessary as you stated. It appears that the current door is attached and pivots by 2 metal hinges (1) at the top left corner and (1) at the bottom left corner. My question is how do I take the old door off and then replace it with the new one. Also are you sure I need to pull it out because it appears there are pins hinge that hold the door on. Please reply and thanks again for your info. Danny

I also have the similar need..
I have a GE Profile Microwave (JVM1460WA), which is about 10 years old, has lots of cracks around the door, and latch/spring action is broken. Instead of replacing the individual parts, I'm thinking of replacing the whole 'door assembly' (part # AP2033297).
Wondering if anyone has comments on how easy / difficult to install, any links to instructions is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sam

Hi Danny,
There are two door hinges (upper & bottom) which are mounted with two screws each. You can reach these hinges only after the microwave is out of the cabinet.

I have a Whirlpool mh7140XFQ0. All it really needs is the outer door casing replaced. I see they sell it but without instructions???
