Cooktop has 2 very low burners on L--front L is the issue. Replaced solenoid and still no gas. Wondering what to do next--could it be potentiometer? If so--where is it and is there any way to verify the problem before buying part?

Most likely the problem is a bad potentiometer. It is located on the stem of the gas burner valve, under the knob.

For the right part number you have to call Appliance Parts Pros customer service (877-477-7278).

Here are the break down diagrams for the Thermador Model PCS484GG
