Bought GE Hydrowave washer little over a year ago.Have replaced belt twice already. When brand new it was very quiet when agitating.Got very noisy the more we used it.After some research found out inner tub was rotating with agitator, which tore up the belts.Error code on motor indicated it was the mode shifter.Replaced mode shifter.Washer worked fine for about two weeks.Same problem with inner tub and same error code on motor.Did continuity check on coil of the mode shifter and meter showed no continuity.Could it be the motor?

Yes, the motor and mode shifter need to be replaced, unfortunatly the motor holds the software that prevents this from happening.
