the valve that allows the water to flow to ice maker is dry, no water in waterline. there is a flow of water from the water line

Hi,

Check the water fill tube that goes through the freezer wall to see if it is frozen, blocking the flow of the water.

the line in the back of the fridge is also dry,i check the valve to see if i was getting water to the valve from the water line,water was present at the valve but would not dispense from the valve,its there a solenoid swicth that pull the water to ice maker,water dispense
