My washer will fill but after it fills it wont agitaite, I can here the timer clicking but nothing. If I turn the timer to the next cycle it will spin. Sometimes after if fills it will shut off... I have to unplug it to reset then turn knob to next cycle and then it will start to drain and spin? I know it's not the timer, any ideas what's wrong? All belts appear to be fine. Please give me some ideas, I appreciate it!

Have you tried it in the other wash cycles?

I'm inclined to say it sounds like a stripped agitator. With nothing in the machine, can you grasp the agitator base and turn it by hand?

If it were stripped, you would be able to turn it by hand. Since you're certain it's not the timer, it sounds like a transmission problem.
