Hi Hill, you are probably right. most of the carrier unit I've work on with the symtom he describe are the 10 ton unit. Thats why i need to know the model #,

Finally we replaced the evaporator section and all is well now suction pressure 69psig with high side @260psig. This unit cools a shopping mall top floor. We suspect the coil was too blocked up even after cleaning. apparently after not being serviced for over 2-3 yrs all that mock etc., could not be cleaned out . Thanks to u all for your advice, we will let u all know how it goes. jeffrey_benjamin. :) ;)
