I bought a new GE microwave and some one turned it on during construction with just the directionsin it which burned up the directions and now it will not run I want to know if there is a reset button or any sugestions? Thanks Bruce

If it is totally dead the fuse is probably blown. If not it is most likely the hv diode, or (door switch). Which I found it bad on mine today, but it was a 1999 vintage unit. If the fuse is good it should act normally but the fan and growl of the HV TRANSFORMER WILL BE ABSENT when trying to cook.
