My whirlpool duel washer has really started banging around in the spin cycle, after removing the front cover (also back panel) and watching it bang around on a level surface, I ordered new springs and shock absorbers.
Just wanted some pointers on the procedures on changing the springs/shock absorbers, do I need to disconnect hoses ect.?

If you will post a complete model number we can direct you to the service manual. (There are several Duet versions)
