I have a newer frontload washer that goes through all cycles including agitating cycle properly. But when you put it to spin, you can hear what I assume to be the motor but the drum does not spin at all. Please help!

If you look inside the lower service panel on the left you should find some tech sheets which will show you how to trouble shoot using the lights on your console to generate error codes.

Let us know what you find out. It is somewhat unusual for the motor to be turning and the machine not spinning. Take off the back cover and try to see what is happening, and also clean out the pump and drain hoses.
