I am trying to figure out why my washer will not Agitate. Belts good. Spin works. Isn't there a coupler under Agitator? Please help.

What is the complete model number of the washer?

Yes, there is a coupling (#310 on the diagram) which can cause such problem. Remove the agitator and check the coupling.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric WJSR2080T6WW Washer | AppliancePartsPros.com

I am having issues getting the Agitator off. Is there a special way to remove it?

I have the same problem with the same washer but the splines in the coupling don't appear to be too bad.

Replace anyway? Other suggestions?

Mine was not bad either. But I changed it and it works. Only heads up I have is when putting the new coupling on, be careful to not hit it to hard.
