My oven started beeping and turning off. Finally I saw a code e2f6 and took the panel apart to check all the connections. It worked sporadically. I replaced the panel and it worked fine for about 2 weeks. Then the same thing started happening. Contol panels bite! I want to check the ground before I order the control board, but am unsure how to do that. Does this type of oven have a plug like a dryer? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Lisa, Your oven does not have a plug and it should be hardwired. The junction box usually is behind the oven. You can find the complete wiring instructions in the installation manual. Whirlpool recommendations concerning the "E2 - F6" error code are very uncertain. The cause of this problem could be control panel as well as control board without more specific diagnosis. - The part number for the control board is AP3767567 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool oven Model RBD275PDQ12Gene.
