it fills, washes fine and everything, but wont spin. I smelled burning smell last night and checked out the clothes. They still has soap suds on them. I tried to move the time into spin cycle and it won't spin. I am supposing that I will check the water pump tonight. Or am I headed in the wrong direction? How can I tell if the pump is bad? Plus I am supposing I will need a new belt too.

If there are suds but no water then the pump is probably good.

Remove the front panel and check the belt.

Replace the belt if it's worn.

Run the spin cycle without the front panel and observe how it works.

Post your findings.

- The part number for the belt is AP3867042

Belt may have a bad spot on it and when it starts to spin at that spot it slips// take off belt and feel for thinning spots..
