We had our refrigerator problem diagnosed and it seems to be the thermostate to the freezer. If the refrigerator and feezer start cooling down we tap the control know area and it starts right up again.

Is part AP2151607 what we need and is it easy to install ourselves?

Thanks Anne

That is the compressor control, the one on the left. If intermittant, it will stop the compressor. You should remove it and confirm by tapping on it.
If ok, describe the failure symptoms.

Yes, just plug the new one in and route the capillary line exactly as the old one, make a diagram if necessary.
