this microwave hood comb was built in when they built these new homes... we have been here for 2 years, the lights went out last week and when they came back on the disply semed fine but when we went to use it the smart sensor touch pad no matter how hard you press the numbers wont work / rejister a touch... i dont know what is best? I deal would be a quick fix i can do myself of course, but to get a repair tech out here might cost me more than half what a new one would cost... sooo #1 can i fix this? #2 if i cant and need a tech will it run me half or more of the value of a new one... Please let me know as soon as you can... thanx... Manny

Hi,

What is the model number of your microwave?

Have you checked the touch pad ribbon cable to see if it's plugged in good?
