After washing a load of clothes, I noticed that the throw rug in the laundry room floor was wet. It was more than damp, but not so much that it had standing water. Other than that, it seems to work fine. I have no idea of what to do or where to begin, but I do know that I can't afford to pay a repair man or get a new one. Is there any hope?

Pull the front panel off and look for the leak.

To remove the panel, use a flat screwdriver or butter knife to release the two tabs at the top of the front panel. There is one at each corner between the top panel and the front panel. One these releases are released, the panel will swing down and can be lifted and removed from the bottom.

The water is coming from the back and it seems to only happen when the washer is on spin cycle

You will need to follow the leak up to it's source.

This is a tough problem to find without being there looking at it.
