I have a ge top loading washer that stops in the middle of the wash and rinse cycles. It will work fine for a minute then stops until I advance the timer then it will work fine for a couple minutes and do the same. It only seems to be happening in the wash and rinse cycles. I replased the timer with new O.E.M. but still have the same problem. any sggestions would be appriciated. lcn

Try to bypass the lid switch and see how it'll work.

Thanks Gene . I did try that with no success. I'm just wondering if the relay on the P.C.B. would have anything to do with it. If I cycle power it will work again.
