Having a problem finding out how to remove the knob from the timer housing without destroying everything. I need to replace the timer unit could anyone help me?

The instructions are printed right on the back of the timer. I think you push the knob in, then in the back of the timer you use needle nose pliers to pull the retaining shaft out.

Thanks for the reply. There is no instructions on the back of the timer but i will try what you have suggested.
