Greetings!

GE Profile Microwave/Convection, over the cooktop.

After reapplying power to kitchen appliances after a brief vacation, the micro will not accept power. (I always throw the breakers to avoid possible surge damage.) The unit worked perfectly the night before I threw the breaker.

Voltage to the receptacle is normal. The oven is dark!

I assume there is an internal fuse. If so, that should be my first test. Can anyone confirm a fuse? Any idea where it is located? Will I have to remove the oven from its perch above the cooktop to troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance!

I have opened up the oven and checked the power input and the obvious fuse. Both were okay.

Can anyone help me with the next steps of troubleshooting?

Thanks again.

I have since checked all thermal cutoffs. All OK.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
