Hi, I am replacing the seal at the bottom of the tub, and am at the point to remove the agitator, how do I do that? There is no bolt inside the top of it. Does it spin out/off? jkl

There should be a small hex head (usually 1/4") attaching the plastic agitator to the metal agitator shaft on the side of agitator. Just reach into the tub area and feel around near where the agitator base flares out. The screw will be just above it. It would help if you have a mirror to see it. Once the screw is loosen a couple turns (not necessary to remove it completely) the agitator will lift off of the splined shaft. Good luck... Tom

unless you are VERY mechanically inclined, (like you work on cars for a living) i would not attempt this job. you need special tools to get some parts off, (and on).
kudo's if you succeed...
