My son just broke the glass cooktop on our BRAND NEW, UNUSED GE electric cooktop. Are there instructions for replacing the glass top? How can I check that there is no further damage before purchasing the new top?

Thanks.

The glass cooktop is guarantied for 5 years by GE. Who knows if your son broke it or it broke due to thermal shock?

This model is barely new and there is no any information available yet.

Gene.
