The unit is a BUCK Stove propane vent free...it works fine but recently, the pilot light grew from about a quarter of an inch to around a full inch or more...Looking at the unit, it isn't obvious how or what to replace...
Any info would help...

ODS (oxygen depletion system) gas safety heaters/fireplaces. Notice the hole to clean arrows. You can use a straw to blow out the dust or shop air also. When the dust is removed the heater will work properly

Thank you for the reply!! It isn't the hole though...the hole is completely clear...I blew it out thoroughly. The design I have has a thin metal piece covering one side of the hole. If I lift it off, the flame intensifies...

get some rust buster and flush the pilot
